About Merla

Merla started with a problem we kept running into. Counting stock by hand takes forever, and the numbers are wrong again by the time you finish. We wanted a count you could actually trust, so we built one around RFID.

The problem

We've spent time close to stores and warehouses with large stock, and we've seen what counting it really looks like. Doors close for a full day while inventory is tallied by hand, one label at a time, and the numbers are out of date the moment the count finishes.

The pattern

The same thing came up everywhere we looked. Stock figures drifted, counts ate whole days, and people made decisions on numbers they didn't quite believe.

Our answer

So we built Merla. A full count takes minutes instead of days, and the numbers stay right in between counts.
